About Jonah Evans

Jonah holds an MFA in Fiction from Syracuse University, where he also taught writing. His writing is driven by curiosity and a love of storytelling whether it's in fiction, music, or personal narratives.  His fiction is a thin layer of comedy, blanketing tragedy, and examines the fragility of human communication. His music reviews aim to illuminate the structure of sound and the motivation of the artists, which establishes the final product. His personal narratives are filled with acute observations and open-ended questions. He is also a drummer who played in the bands The Mo-Odds and No State. He resides in Philly.
